I know yesterday was Easter, and I’m all the way in Minnesota…and I’m sure it’d be nice to write about the Easter I had hear…but I’m not going to. Instead, I’m going to write about the Easter I had last year at the Chapman Ranch. Because I’ve been thinking about it a lot. I really loved that weekend. It was amazing. In all my memories of being at the Chapman’s this is by far my favorite. But just for the record: all of the times I’ve been there are times I have felt so close to the Lord. That place is an Oasis I tell ya. Kudos Chapman Family!
The excitement really began the night before Easter...Easter-Eve if you will :-)
We spent the evening at the cabin watching fire tricks.
Even though we stayed up really late, we were still determined to get to the mountain and see the sunrise in the morning. It was SO worth it!
It was kinda funny because when we got up there, we saw that the cows were not very happy that we had taken over their territory, even momentarily.
The Donkeys were friendly though!
It was an Easter Service like no other! We had music...
The Word...
and the opportunity to remember that the Lord is faithful to all generations!
And when the sun rose; we all stood in AWE!

It was awesome.
bubblebutttjThanks for refreshing my memory! That was a special time of fellowship with each other and our world and our God. As for us... me thinks that time has made your heart grow fonder, and I know that we miss your company too! mark
